The son of a veterinarian and a dental
hygienist, Matthew Stoloff holds a J.D. from Syracuse University
College
of Law with certificates in Disability Law and Estate Planning. During law school,
Mr. Stoloff was a student
attorney in the Disability
Rights Clinic, where he represented people with
various disabilities, including Deafness, Tourettes Syndrome, and
neurophysiologic disorders. He previously
clerked for a small litigation firm and has performed contract work for
a New
Jersey
employee
rights attorney. He also acquired legal
experience volunteering at Central Jersey Legal Services.
Due to his unique experiences, both personal
and professional, Mr. Stoloff focuses his practice on disability
rights,
civil rights, student rights, employment law, special
education, and
animal law.
Mr.
Stoloff has lived in New Jersey for half of his life. Prior
to
law school, he attended the University of Cincinnati, where he earned
his Baccalaureate in philosophy. He also has a Masters degree
in
Labor & Industrial Relations from Michigan State University and
a
Masters in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice,
City University of New York.
Mr. Stoloff is licensed to practice law in
the State of New
Jersey.
He is a member of the American Bar
Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, and the
Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates, Inc.
In
addition to his
commitment to all of his clients, Mr. Stoloff serves the community by
volunteering for a number of organizations, including providing legal
research and writing at the Central Jersey Legal Services
and serving on a
Committee at the New Jersey Association for the Deaf-Blind.
Mr.
Stoloff and his wife live on the boundary line
between Mercer County and Middlesex County, where they enjoy
visiting the local parks and seeing wildlife roam in preserved open
space areas.
